Taking the first step toward counseling isn’t always easy. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or simply exhausted from trying to carry life’s burdens on their own. My goal is to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, be heard, and begin moving toward lasting change.
I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, grief, stress, anger, ADHD, autism, substance abuse, and life transitions. Whether you’re struggling with panic attacks, overthinking, burnout, communication problems, parenting challenges, emotional regulation, or the effects of childhood trauma, we’ll work together to better understand what’s happening and develop practical tools that fit your life.
I have a special passion for helping individuals recover from addiction, process difficult life experiences, strengthen relationships, and build healthier ways of coping. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents using developmentally appropriate approaches, including play-based interventions, to help them improve emotional regulation, behavior, confidence, and communication.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique story. I draw from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches while always focusing on the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all treatment plan.
Whether you’re looking for an anxiety therapist, couples counseling, trauma therapy, addiction counseling, child therapy, parenting support, or simply someone to help you navigate a difficult season of life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I proudly serve clients in Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Glynn County, and the surrounding Southeast Georgia communities through Emerald Isle Counseling.
