Cheryl enjoys working with individuals and married couples whom need a more cognitive behavior approach. Using empathy and their belief system together to define the core issues Cheryl and her clients set goals. By altering behaviors to achieve a sense of well-being and emotional health the client begins to have a sense of peace. Everyone wants to live rich meaningful lives yet there are challenges in life that can be difficult to manage alone. Losing hope of obtaining a resolution defines a moment when a professional therapist like herself can be helpful. Attending therapy in a safe, inviting, and non-judgmental session creates the trust clients require for a positive experience.
Cheryl’s goal is to help her clients resource their strengths for a healthy fulfilling life ahead in a trusting environment.
As a native Georgian, Cheryl completed her master’s degree from LaGrange College. Cheryl’s work in mental health includes working with severe diagnoses, drug addiction, and couples counseling.
