Gwen attended College of William and Mary receiving her Bachelor’s in Government and Economics. She completed her graduate degree at University of South Carolina with a Master’s of Social Work.
With over 20 years of experience, Gwen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who assists those with depression, anxiety, grief, bereavement, eating disorders and trauma. She has worked in hospitals, psychiatric inpatient facilities, private practice and hospice. Additionally, she has offered her expertise creating federal and local grants for health programs in underserved areas.
Gwen enjoys working with clients who are motivated to develop a greater awareness of their thoughts, feelings and reactions; tackling stress causing issues. Working from a strengths focused outlook, she assists in building skills for change and self understanding by using traditional therapies and experiential methods.
Gwen resides on St. Simons Island with her husband and children. She adores travel, letterboxing, and adventures.
