Therapist

Brett is a therapist with a broad background of experiences and training that he brings into his clinical practice. He attended Berea College (KY) where he earned a background in Child & Family Studies. Following the completion of his bachelor’s degree he then attended Northern Kentucky University where he was trained and earned his master’s degree as a school counselor.

While Brett has a passion for serving youth in schools as a counselor, he went back to school at the University of Cincinnati where he completed additional coursework required to be a clinical mental health therapist. In addition to his educational background, he has worked for 5+ years in various community-based programs; supporting Job & Family Services to Substance Abuse Recovery Services. Brett has been working as a counselor for nearly 10 years and is thrilled to bring his craft to the Isles!

Here in the Golden Isle’s Brett serves as a school counselor at Glynn Academy and provides therapy services with the Emerald Isle Counseling team in the evenings and weekends.

Moving to the Golden Isles from Ohio, Brett and his family are excited to be a part of this beautiful community. Brett, his wife, their five children and Golden Doodle enjoy an active lifestyle of family outings and experiences, so much that they relocated down south so they could have more warm seasons for outdoor adventures!
