Christian King has extensive experience working with all ages in a wide variety of areas. He taught in the Chattanooga/Hamilton County, TN school system for 3 years, before moving to Knoxville, TN and working as a social worker and counselor in Project G.R.A.D. Knoxville; a private organization that partnered with the public school system.

He was an in-home counselor and social worker in the East Tennessee region for 5 years, and later worked in the Knox County Dept. of Children Services, as he obtained his Masters degree from Liberty University in Professional Counseling and becoming a Clinical Therapist.

He has practiced therapy with all ages for individual, couples, families and groups, but specializes in working with teenagers who suffer from depression, anxiety, anger management issues and other disorders. He primarily uses CBT, Reality and Gestalt therapeutic models, and also uses Motivational Interviewing to help clients reach their goals. He is passionate about helping young people be successful in life, as well as helping couples and families become more unified and whole.
