Sherrie has worked with children of all ages for many years in a pastoral setting and as a school counselor. She received her Masters of Pastoral Studies from Loyola University in New Orleans and her Masters of Education in Counseling from Georgia Southern University. Presently, she is a school counselor for elementary and middle school students.

She utilizes CBT, Sandplay therapy and art therapy with her clients; giving them ownership for their mental health. As part of a crisis team, Sherrie is trained to work specifically with adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression and suicidal ideations. Sherrie has also been trained as Career Counselor with the National Career Development Association.

Sherrie and her family are native Southeastern Georgia residents. She has been part of several communities from rural south to the suburbs and in between, embracing each and every one.
