Before becoming a counselor, he lived abroad and worked for top-tier international schools in an educational capacity helping unique teens and young adults with challenging issues and little cultural support or understanding.

Dr deBeus specializes in psychological assessments with children through adults; age range of six to 90. Dr. deBeus works with a wide range of individuals possibly struggling with ADHD, learning problems, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, memory problems and head injuries.
Keagan Wells, MSW

As early as she can remember, Keagan has wanted to be a light for others in their time of need. Keagan has completed a trauma-informed care training series with a core trauma-informed certification, certification for supporting those experiencing grief and loss in childhood through adulthood, and various dialectical behavioral therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy trainings. Keagan further appreciates and incorporates expressive arts therapies into her practice.

Jaylee works with individuals who are navigating a range of emotional challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She enjoy implementing EMDR into sessions because it helps individuals reprocess memories and experiences in a way that reduces emotional charge and promotes healing.

Chelsea comes from a background in acute healthcare and hospice management for over 10 years. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University. Previously, managing over one hundred employees from various professional backgrounds for a large hospice provider; her passion is being a resource to all in need.

Cheyenne graduated from high school early and has decided to further her education in the health care field. She is currently enrolled in Coastal Pines Technical College for Emergency Medical Technician. With her passion to help others, she plans to become a flight paramedic. In her free time, she enjoys beach days, studying and spending time with her family and pets.
Zariyah Cope

Zariyah Cope will obtain her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Wake Forest University in 2024. She is originally from Savannah, GA, and recently moved to Brunswick. In her free time she enjoys taking a nap, learning a new recipe, solving puzzles, and playing the SIMs.
Amanda Fair

Amanda joined Emerald Isle Counseling in the spring of 2023, bringing with her over 10 years of billing experience in the medical field.
Amanda resides in Brunswick with her husband and two children. She enjoys her time off with days on the beach, live music, travelling, and cheering on the UGA Bulldogs. Go Dawgs!
